Alerts notify customers when kids, contractors don't arrive at home as scheduled
For those consumers that want to know when their kids have arrived home safely from
school or whether or not a contractor has shown up as scheduled, alarm monitoring
technology provider Alarm.com announced the launch of its new "No Show Alerts" this
week.
These alerts are sent to customers of Alarm.com dealers when a particular user has
not disabled their alarm system by a specified time, according to the company. The
alerts, which are provided at no additional charge to any Alarm.com customer with
an interactive account, can be sent via email or text message.
"For a busy parent with a latchkey child headed back to school this fall, No-Show
Alerts are a must-have school supply," said Alison Slavin, Alarm.com vice president
of product management in a statement.
