Alarm.com Releases Android App for Remote Monitoring and Control of Home and Business

With new app, consumers can use their Google Android mobile phones to arm/disarm
a security system, view live video, and check motion activity occurring at their
property from afar
Vienna, Virginia - May 24, 2010 - Alarm.com, the security industry leader in wireless,
web and mobile security and monitoring technology, today announced the launch of
its new mobile app for Google Android phones. The new free app allows users to easily
check on their monitored properties from their Android mobile device anytime, from
anywhere.
Alarm.com's Android app empowers users to:
- Arm and disarm their Alarm.com-enabled security system remotely
- View live video and recorded video clips
- Keep tabs on recent activity reported by motion detectors and other sensors throughout
their property
- Access a history of all events reported by the security system, including alarms,
power failures, and water leaks
Customers can also receive real-time email and text message notifications right
to their Android device for any system event that takes place, such as a child coming
home from school, an after-hours store delivery, or a garage door left opened.
