Alarm.com Introduces No-Show Alerts in Time for Back-to-School Season
Convenient and customizable monitoring solution enables consumers to remotely
monitor the non-arrivals of latchkey kids and other guests
Vienna, Virginia - August 26, 2010 - Alarm.com, the security industry leader in
wireless, web and mobile security and monitoring technology, today announced the
launch of No-Show Alerts, which let customers know if a certain person did not disarm
their security system during a specific timeframe. Not only will this custom notification
assist parents in overseeing the safe return of their children from school remotely,
but customers will also be able to monitor the arrivals of housekeepers or pet sitters
as well.
No-Show Alerts are sent to authorized Alarm.com dealers' customers when a specified
user has not disarmed their security system by a set time on a set date. This new
custom notification is just one of many new features from Alarm.com that lets you
look in on your home or business from anywhere, at any time.
With No-Show Alerts, customers are able to:
- Ensure that their kids arrive home safely.
- Check in on their cleaning crew's arrival.
- Make sure that their dog walker arrives during scheduled visiting hours.
- Oversee that the contractor or handyman gets to their home or business on time.
Customers can receive No-Show Alerts via email or text message, sent through Alarm.com's
proven security technology platform. For added convenience, customers can also be
notified if their system is already disarmed when a scheduled timeframe begins,
reminding them to arm their system.
"With Alarm.com's new No-Show alerting feature, users can find out immediately whenever
someone expected to arrive at their home or business doesn't show up", said Alison
Slavin, Alarm.com Vice President of Product Management. "For a busy parent with
a latchkey child headed back to school this fall, No-Show Alerts are a must-have
school supply."
