| "I am so glad I purchased an Alarm.com upgrade kit. Shortly after I moved in to my new house and upgraded the existing security system to Alarm.com through one of their licensed partners, my company transferred me to London for 7 months. My house sat empty for 5 weeks, and as I was sitting at my office in London one day, I got an email stating that the alarm was going off in my garage. I called the central monitoring company immediately to find out what was going on. The police arrested somebody sitting in my car about 5 minutes after the alarm went off. It gave me such peace of mind to know that my house was being looked after while I was 4,100 miles away. I could see who was coming in and out of my house. We believe that having a completely wireless connection to the monitoring station is more convenient, economical, and secure, since there's no telephone line to be installed, paid for, or cut. The Alarm.com web interface is extremely well thought out and simple to use. It makes routine things like configuring what we want to be notified about, setting up temporary pass-codes for house guests, and programming our outside house lights to turn on and off at slightly different times each day a breeze. We love being able to go online and see all the events like when motion detectors are activated and doors opened -- it's a great reassurance that the system is alive and well. When we have set off the alarm, it's great being able to just enter a code into the cell phone when it rings to cancel the alarm and disarm the system. Finally, I have to say that Alarm.com's service is second to none. They have always responded quickly and thoroughly to all my questions. Alarm.com offers a fantastic service. It handles home security much better than any other system on the market, and it does so much more. I wholeheartedly recommend Alarm.com to anyone looking for a home security and automation system! | "The Security Dealer that Alarm.com referred us to was excellent. I was floored by how hard they worked to earn my satisfaction. They came to our house, looked at our existing system (which was quite elaborate) and gave us a firm estimate to upgrade the system to Alarm.com technology. We have two small children and my wife really wanted Alarm.com. We needed the ability to get notified on events other than just burglar or smoke alarm events. When we go out to dinner and leave the kids with a trusted baby-sitter, we feel much more comfortable knowing that we will get a text message if our bathroom or liquor cabinets are opened. We also entertain a lot and when we have big groups over, we have Alarm.com tell us if anyone goes into our Master Bedroom suite. I also travel often and always take my laptop. It's great to be able to log in and control the security system from away and see who has been arming and disarming our system. We can definitely say that Alarm.com is better than any other security system and that the Security Dealer that did our work is someone that I would recommend to all of my friends." |

I really enjoy having an Alarm.com wireless security system that I can monitor from anywhere. It is state of the art security. In fact, this morning I forgot to set the alarm when I left home, but as soon as I got to the office, I logged onto the Alarm.com site and armed my system. So simple. The added security of Central Monitoring is certainly worth the extra few dollars a month as well. I've had one alarm since installation; it made me feel safer knowing that someone was watching over my home even when I couldn't.

| "We have two homes, one in Seattle, and one in Phoenix. We currently have Alarm.com service in Seattle, and the service will be provided in Phoenix this next week. The main selling point for us is that we can keep tabs on the people who have been trusted with checking up on our home periodically while we're gone. Thus, we get email notifications when they've disarmed the system, when they've walked through the house (setting off the motion sensors), etc. I also like the fact that I can arm the system over the Internet. In case they forget to arm the system, I can see this on the web site, and easily arm it myself...Overall, I've been very pleased with Alarm.com. The problem with most security services is that you are paying for something that you hope you never have to use. With Alarm.com, you also get the added benefit of monitoring your home for non-alarm events, such as seeing when doors have been opened, when the system has been armed/disarmed, etc. The web site is incredibly easy to use, and it's nice that I can add/remove authorized users without having to get into the alarm panel itself. I've been recommending Alarm.com to friends and family as well!" |
